Dr. Kishore (Surgeon) and Dr. PurnimaNadkarni (OBGyn) both Gold Medalists from KEM Hospital and G. S. Medical College Mumbai left the lure of city practice and decided to settle in rural South Gujarat.

After working for 2 years in Trust Hospital and working for the District Family Planning Programme, Nadkarni Hospital was started in 1984 at KillaPardiinitially as a Surgical and Maternity Hospital.

In 1995 the Test Tube Baby Centre was started which was the first rural IVF Program in India. This was possible as both the doctors acquired training in infertility from UK, USA, Australia and Germany in the early 90’s and also visited different centres in India.

In 2000-21st Century Hospitals Pvt. Ltd.-Vapi- a 50 bedded multispeciality hospital was developed with a team of full time doctors to give multispeciality services in the industrial towns of Vapi, Daman and Silvassa and entire South Gujarat.In 2005-Aum Convention Centre was established at PardiStation which provided a Party Plot and a 400 seater AC Auditorium which was used for Medical Conferences, Updates, Social Events and other activities.

In 2007-21st Century Hospital & Test Tube Baby Centre was developed at Surat which was a full fledgedsuperspeciality hospital offering comprehensive infertility services under one roof.

2005 to 2013-Also saw the development of Nadkarni’s 21st Century Training Academy which offered short courses and fellowships in Infertility,Embryology training including Ultrasound and Endoscopy. This Academy has already trained more than 500 Post Graduate Gynaecologists from India & Abroad and is also recognized by FOGSI and ICOG.

Nadkarni Medical Foundationwas established in 2010 which conducted medical & social awareness activities in the field of Infertility, Cancer & Maternal & Child Health, Educational, Charity and Research initiatives were included in the Trust activities.

3C-Cancer Care Centre was founded at Vapi in 2012which started full fledged Cancer and Laparoscopic Surgeries. The Cancer Centre offered diagnostic, therapeutic & palliative treatments under 3C (Control, Cure, Comfort) Centre including Radio & Chemo Therapies.

21st Century Fertility Centre-a day care centre at Majura Gate-Athwa, Surat opened in May 2014. Keeping in mind the city patients request this day care centre with have OPD services, IUI Room, Lab, a small OT and recovery rooms and Pharmacy and an androcare division and will augment services of the main station hospital.

21st Century E Class Laparoscopic Surgery Centre-(Experience the extraordinary)opened in June2014. Keeping in view the demand for high standard of cleanliness, service and facilities. This E Class centre will have 10 superdelux rooms with high and modern facilities, an ultramodern OT &equipments for open and laparoscopic surgeries, a post of ICU, labour ward and a pharmacy. This centre will offer facilities for outside surgeons to being their patients to 21st Century and associate with us.

Evacare-21st Century E Class Infertility Centre opened in June 2014 at Vapi.A full fledgedcentre for IUI-IVF-ICSI and fetal medicine and high risk pregnancy centre this ultra modern facility will offer world class IVF/ICSI services to local, city and international patients will also have an Androcare division.

Androfert is Gujarat’s first Andro Embryology Centre for evaluation and treatment of Male Reproductive and Sexual Dysfunction managed by Dr. Kishore Nadkarni (Andro Surgeon) and Dr. Prabhakar Singh (Andro Embryologist). The Androfert services are available at our centres in Surat, KillaPardi and Vapi. Services include management of Male Infertility, Oligospermia, Azospermia, Sperm Retieval, Micro TESE, Comprehensive Analysis of Sperm Defects, Endocrine and Genetic Evaluation, Management of Erectile Ejaculatory Dysfunction, Andropause Management, Embryology and Counselling.
